The Nexus S will be available Thursday, December 16, 2010 from Bestbuy stores. That is today. Online sales of Nexus S began already prior to in store sales, at 8 a.m. Eastern which coincided with the opening of Best Buy stores on the East Coast. Best Buy stores also have have adjusted their holiday hours to open at 8 a.m
The Nexus S from Google is an unlocked phone and without contract could be purchased for $529. But you are also free to purchase the Nexus S for $199 with a T-Mobile two-year contract and qualifying voice and data plan. The phone is also available for $249.99 for add-a-line activations.
Since this is a Google phone, you will receive all the updates to OS before anyone else. Also this will be the replacement for Google Phone, T-Mobile G1. Hope I get money to upgrade my Google Dev phone with this one.
